When the impeller rotates, the blades apply centrifugal force to the incoming gas, causing it to flow radially outward from the center into the surrounding volute chamber. The volute chamber collects and guides the airflow, directing it tangentially toward the discharge outlet.
The gas compression process is achieved by the kinetic energy generated from the impeller rotation, which increases the gas velocity. Within the volute chamber, this kinetic energy is efficiently converted into pressure energy, thus enabling the gas to be delivered at a higher pressure.
